Seventy-three years after the publication date is difficult to assess the original Lukovic monograph on Prčanj, we have a new, partially revised, updated, modernized and richly illustrated edition of the same offense. Publisher's agile institution Kotor - Maritime Museum of Montenegro in Kotor. The book is dedicated to a prominent intellectual and Boka priest Don Branko Sbutega (1952-2006.).

The following is a brief overview of the life N. Lukovic, who wrote Msgr. Anton Belan (19).
The central part of the book includes the original text of the settlement Lukovic in Prčanj. For this issue, it is entirely edited text (Gracijela Culic) and enriched with excellent illustrations Stevan Kordic, who - along with their associated signatures - are particularly valuable and eye-readers out pretty attractive part of the book.
Lukovic in Prčanj is divided into three basic units (with a preface, p. 25-27). The first section of the book, titled "Prčanj - historical account" (29-135), a comprehensive review and meljnih-development component of Prčanj's past. It starts with a short topographic described catfish Perast, followed by review of the history of old age, but then a substantial part of this chapter focused on the 17th and 18 century - a period when Prčanj grows among the leading maritime and trading settlements Bay, and east coast. The author deals with in detail here yields Prčanjana Venetian military and naval achievements, recorded the most important battles and their participants (prčanjske warriors and sailors), states that honors and privileges acquired by Prčanj Venetian government for its military involvement, and points to the economic prosperity of the town and the internal structure prčanjske municipalities.
The following chapters of the 19th century within which indicates extensive political going end of 18 and early 19th century, when the government dismissed the Bay area and break the interests of Austria, France and Russia, and the course of the Napoleonic wars will bring (naval blockades, seizure of ships, etc.) to a temporary stagnation of the shipping industry and economic activity in general. A special chapter is devoted Lukovic echoes revolution onarnih motion 1848 and the National Assembly held on 13 lipnja 1848 in the Franciscan monastery of St. Nicholas on Prčanj, where the champions of Boka Kotorska comment on the call En-tian Parliament to unite with other Croatian lands. In the coming decades is renewed prčanjska merchant navy and the end of the 19th Prčanj century had even 152 ships for long voyages. But the advent of the modern era and the emergence of a steamboat, and in particular the state favoring Austrian Lloyd Steamship Company, had a negative impact on shipping Perast (like most other Croatian shipping centers of the time), which will leave many sailors independent maritime enterprise and access to Lloyd's office. This will, after the Venetians in previous centuries, from 19 century Boka Kotorska more capital to be transferred to Trieste. The following is a brief overview of Prcanj in the First World War and entering Bay in the Yugoslav community which Lukovic - according to his own political opredjelje-them thinking - expressed no little affection.
The first book of the whole process is, furthermore, family surnames Prčanj suggesting the folk customs, traditions and beliefs. For students of the history of Perast is of particular importance is the chapter "Featured Prčanjani" (98-133), which contained concise but very informative biographies of famous Prčanjana in the maritime shipping industry, politics, church and culture (from a family occasion, a Florio, Lazzari, Lukovic, Radonicic, Sbutega, Verona, etc.).
The second section of the monograph, called "Sights" (139-197), contains a detailed description of the Prčanj religious buildings, especially the parish church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, grandiose architectural buildings completed in the early 20th century. Here, briefly outlines the existing organizations, agencies and institutions operating in Prca-it and bring data on the development of tourism. In the "Appendix" (207-226), who is also an integral part of Lukovic editions from 1937. year, are contained in various chronological and statistical surveys and censuses (prčanjskih pastors, captains, ship lists in certain periods, examination prčanjskih family coats of arms, etc.).

The compiled Vinko Djurovic (243-261). Finally there is a brief summary of the new release Lukovic Perast who wrote Gracijela Culic and translation of this summary in English and Italian (263-266).

The book is written in its original ancient 1937 and the for-safe measure reflects the no small contemporary political climate which is - own equipment-share means - and was an integral part of the writer of the book.
